Aloha *|FNAME|*!
January 8th 2018 Chapter Meeting-Potluck
We invite you to join us again on Monday, January 8th at 6:30pm to celebrate food, farming, and the power of collective action. We meet on the second Monday of every month at ‘Ai Love Nalo (in the back courtyard garden area), 41-1025 Kalanianaole Hwy, Waimanalo, HI 96795.
This month’s meeting we will be joined by the one and only Jay Bost, who will bring us up to date on GoFarm Hawaii developments!! Learn about this awesome program that takes place right in our own backyard, Waimanalo, and hear from graduates and current students. Also joining will be Denise Espania, the principal of Malama Honua School, and Herb Lee, a member of its Board. The school has some exciting aina-based plans to share with the community.
And if that’s not enough excitement for you, we will also be doing a PLANT AND SEED EXCHANGE!! So bring all your cool stuff and let’s propagate!! Anyone can participate, but members will have priority – so on that note, we’d like to remind everyone to RENEW your membership or SIGN UP!!!! We'll have a list of current members available at the meeting, as well as those who need to renew or sign up. If you have any difficulty signing up or renewing online, you can download a fillable PDF member form, print it and bring it to the meeting, or save your entries and email completed document to the HFUU membership chair.
