You are receiving this email because of your affiliation with the Hana chapter of Hawai'i Farmers Union United.
Our August general meeting is our chapter's Annual Meeting at which we will elect board members and officers.
Date: Wednesday, August 1 at 4:00 p.m.
Location: Hana Tropicals Oasis (4228 Hana Hwy)
All members are urged to attend and make your voices heard in choosing our leadership! The positions of President, Treasurer and At-Large Director will be open for nominations for two-year terms. All members are welcomed and encouraged to put your name in for the board positions, especially young leaders! (Nominations must be accepted in person or in writing, so if you're interested in serving but are unable to attend in person, please submit your acceptance in writing before the meeting to hfuu-hana@hfuuhi.org.)
We will also do some planning for the Hana Cultural Center Ho‘olaule‘a Farmers Market on August 18.
Please bring something yummy from your farm for the locavore potluck!
(No farm tour since it is our Annual Meeting, to give time for elections.)
