Aloha HFUU members & friends!

Please join us this Monday, Aug 6th, at Kahumana Organic Farm & Cafe. We'll share food potluck style and hear from our friend Alika Silva who will speak about his family history in ranching, his activities with a fish pond project in Makaha and Hawaiian sovereignty.
What to Expect:

Guest Speaker, Alika Silva is a Hawaiian lineal decendant born and raised on the Waiʻanae Coast. His family has a strong background in ranching and Hawaiian culture. Currently, Alika is spearheading a project with Pūnana Leo o Waiʻanae restoring the fish pond at Makaha Surfing Beach. He is also close friends with Routh Bolomet, who submitted the complaint regarding the plunder of Hawaiian lands to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, which subsequently recognized the Hawaiian Kingdom as a sovereign nation state in continuity. Alika has a passion for serving his community and restoring Hawaiian sovereignty through education and food production.
