6:45pm NRCS Renae Gaske USDA soil conservationist and farm services assistance
7:00pm FAM Phyllis Robinson education coordinator. Phyllis Robinson holds a Doctorate in International Education and is a past President of the Haleakala Chapter of the Hawaii Farmers Union United. As a current member of the HFUU Education and Policy Committees she, along with James Simpliciano and several others were founders of HFUU's Farm Apprentice Mentoring Program or FAM in 2015. She currently acts as FAM's Program Manager. As our two Maui chapters grant writer, she has to date secured 5 grants for the FAM program.
