SINCE 2008, FUNG YANG HAS BEEN FARMING CERTIFIED ORGANIC MUSHROOMS—AND DEMAND IS ONLY GROWING.
How does a green waste recycling and compost manufacturing company gives rise to an USDA certified organic mushroom farm? Composted local organic materials are fine soil amendments for plants and nutritious substrate for growing mushrooms! Thus Small Kine Farm was born. Our products are 100% natural compost and organic mushrooms. We are not the only Portabella farm in Hawai‘i, but also the compost manufacturer who uses our own compost and a high-tech pasteurization tunnel to produce safe, high-quality mushrooms with better taste, texture and a longer shelf life than Mainland competitors...they even LOOK better.
- Compost is sold by the truck loads, about 1.5-2 cubic yard and a 50% discount is offered to those who attendant the talk.
*A special for our gathering will be compost offered in buckets.
