We invite you to join us again on Monday, August 14th at 6:30 to celebrate food, farming, and the power of collective action. We meet on the second Monday of every month at ‘Ai Love Nalo (in the back courtyard garden area), 41-1025 Kalanianaole Hwy, Waimanalo, HI 96795.
This month’s meeting we will be treated to an evening focused on Kalo (taro). We are honored to host Daniel Anthony, founder and partner of Mana Ai, which has been providing consumers with paiai and poi since 2009, as our first guest speaker. Then Uncle Ricky Bermudez, steward of the 'aina, will be sharing his knowledge and love of kalo through cooking and tasting of different varieties.
